Description
The life pursuits of the sages are especially described in the form of biographies by prominent people. One such Yugavatar, Swami Vivekananda has been written by many biographers in several books which are completely monographs. Although those books are readily available, their reading becomes too heavy for many readers. In such a case, the novel writers leave the real facts and theory unaltered and present the novel to the reader by mixing their own imagination with the life of the thinker, it becomes a little easier for the reader to know the thinker and makes the reader interested in reading it. One such novel on Swami Vivekananda, ‘Nayan Mahe Royachho Ye Tumi’, has been written in which the flesh-and-blood Narendranath is introduced under the guise of Vivekananda’s identity without adding Guru Gambhir’s wealth of information and theory. It is well known that Vivekananda was very short lived. Only six years in the life of 39 years and few months are captured in this novel. The period is from 1880 to 1886 ie from his 17/18 years of age, till his asceticism after the tirodhana of Tagore Sri Ramakrishna (16th August 1886). All the activities of Narendranath during his youth have been captured during this period. This is the first volume of the book.
