Description
Corporate Fraud!
Small and large thefts, frauds and thefts happen every day in these companies all over the world – sometimes involving top corporate executives, plant managers, company cashiers, office managers or sales people. Or, sometimes from the company’s dealer or agent to the company’s supplier. The incidence of this ‘Third Ripple’ in the corporate world is very secretive – most companies do not want to talk about these sensitive issues. This is an unknown world to common people.
This new book ‘Ortham Anartham’ brings to life some of the thriller stories of that fake world. The author of this book is a Chartered Accountant by profession and has been working as a corporate auditor in various companies for more than three decades. By profession, the writer has seen or still sees the various external manifestations of human greed in daily work, seeing both the face and the mask of people. Although these stories have changed places, containers, names and the writer’s imagination has mixed in – at the end of the day, ‘Orthamanartham’ is, in fact, made up of the author’s daily corporate experiences of the past 34 years. In this book, the author has tried to present the technical aspects as simply as possible to the readers, so that it is easy for them to understand and to keep the popular business topics in English as much as possible. Needless to say, Bengali literature has not done much work on this aspect.
